F.C. Parcelona
Founded in 2012 as a football club which could incorporate the style and sophisitication of Pep’s Barcelona, the community spirit of the Colombian Parcero, and the street ball spirit of ‘parring’ an opponent, Parcelona started as a 6-a-side team playing on Sunday afternoons in Leicestershire.
The club members who helped get FCP off the ground had been brought together by their shared love of competition and adventure, which have remained core to the ethos of the club as it has grown into something much greater. Whilst originally a way for a small group of hopeful youths to enjoy their weekend, the club is now so much more and has enjoyed multiple successes, at home and abroad.
